Kieran Culkin is perhaps best known for his critically acclaimed performance as “Roman Roy” in Jesse Armstrong’s multi-award-winning HBO series Succession, for which he received the Emmy Award and the Critics Choice Award for “Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series” and the Golden Globe Award for “Best Actor in a Television Series - Drama.” Kieran also received the Critics Choice Award for “Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series” and a SAG Award for “Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.” On the big screen, Kieran can next be seen in Fox Searchlight’s highly anticipated two-hander A Real Pain, in which he stars opposite the film’s writer/director Jesse Eisenberg. As a teenager, Kieran garnered critical acclaim for his performance in the titular role in the feature Igby Goes Down. Kieran has also lent his voice to numerous film and television projects. He will next be heard as “Squealer” in Andy Serkis’s upcoming animated adaptation of George Orwell’s iconic novel Animal Farm and as “Dr. Riley” in Ramy Youssef’s Amazon animated series #1 Happy Family Usa. On Broadway, Kieran starred in Kenneth Lonergan’s This Is Our Youth opposite Michael Cera and Tavi Gevinson.

On the big screen, Kieran can next be seen in Fox Searchlight’s highly anticipated two-hander A Real Pain, in which he stars opposite the film’s writer/director Jesse Eisenberg. The film premiered to rave reviews at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival. As a teenager, Kieran garnered critical acclaim for his performance in the titular role in the feature Igby Goes Down, winning a Critics Choice Award for “Best Young Actor/Actress” and receiving both a Golden Globe Award Nomination for “Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical” and an MTV Movie Award Nomination for “Breakthrough Male Performance.” Other film credits include “Wallace Wells” in Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim vs. The World opposite Anna Kendrick and Michael Cera; Steven Soderbergh and Ed Solomon’s No Sudden Move opposite Matt Damon, Jon Hamm, Don Cheadle, and Benicio Del Toro; Todd Solondz’s Wiener-Dog opposite Greta Gerwig, Julie Delpy, and Danny DeVito; Kenneth Lonergan’s Margaret, opposite Anna Paquin; The Mighty; The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys; The Cider House Rules; Music of the Heart; Paper Man; and the Father of the Bride franchise.

On television he appeared in the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning FX series Fargo.

Kieran has also lent his voice to numerous film and television projects. He was most recently heard voicing “Dr. Plowp” in Natasha Lyonne and Maya Rudolph’s star-studded Amazon sci-fi animated comedy series The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy. He also reprised his role of “Wallace Wells” in Netflix’s animated spinoff series Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, which received the 2024 Critics Choice Award for “Best Animated Series.” Other voiceover credits include guest appearances in Netflix’s Agent Elvis, Hulu’s Solar Opposites, Adult Swim’s Teenage Euthanasia, Amazon’s The Boys Presents: Diabolical, and Adult Swim’s long-running Robot Chicken. He will next be heard as “Squealer” in Andy Serkis’s upcoming animated adaptation of George Orwell’s iconic novel Animal Farm and as “Dr. Riley” in Ramy Youssef’s Amazon animated series #1 Happy Family USA. He also narrated MAX’s docu-miniseries Gaming Wall Street.

On Broadway, Kieran starred in Kenneth Lonergan’s This Is Our Youth opposite Michael Cera and Tavi Gevinson.
