It’s impossible for producers to listen to the vast amount of new music being uploaded online daily. That's why multi-platinum music producer Alex da Kid partnered with IBM Watson, allowing him to efficiently sift through the vast and endless catalogue of artists that lives online and uncover the perfect collaboration for his newest single. Alex da Kid and IBM developer Joshua Carr will speak to the role AI technology played in their talent discovery process. Following the conversation, there will be a live performance of the song that came to fruition with the help of IBM’s cutting-edge technology.

Sebastian Tomich was named global head of Advertising and Marketing Solutions at The New York Times in November 2017. In this role, he guides the strategy and revenue generation of the entire advertising team across media, partnerships and services, including T Brand Studio, ad innovation, marketing solutions and sales. Previously, Tomich was senior vice president of Advertising and Innovation, starting in April 2015. In that role he led The Times’s branded content business and studio, overseeing Hello Society and Fake Love—the two agencies the Times Company acquired in 2016—and steered the company’s advertising innovation efforts. In 2017 he was named an Ad Age “40 Under 40” and in 2014 he was named to Ad Age’s “Creative 50.”

Producing records has always been collaborative to Grammy Award-winning music producer and two time Billboard Top 40 under 40 Alex Da Kid. Since creating KIDinaKORNER back in 2011, Alex has signed Skylar Grey, Imagine Dragons, Jamie N Commons, and X Ambassadors, as well as produce singles for Dr. Dre, Eminem, Nikki Minaj, B.o.B, Diddy, T.I., U2, Christina Aguilera, Rihanna, Lupe Fiasco and more. With the launch of KIDinaKORNER’s creative agency, the future will undoubtedly bring more success for Alex, KIDinaKORNER, and the many artists and brands with whom he works.
