A Girl Like Me

| USA | 7 MINUTES | English
A Girl Like Me explores the standards of beauty imposed on today's black girls. Through a number of frank interviews with girls from the director's high school, the film delves beneath the surface in order to show how such standards affect self-esteem and self-image. After watching the film, viewers will come away with greater insight into where exactly these standards stem from.
