Marianne Amelinckx studies filmmaking in ULA in Mérida, Venezuela. She has worked as a co-writer in the animated series Luisa and series Barrio Sur. She has worked with directors Rober Calzadilla (El Amparo), Rubén Sierra (Jazmines en Lídice) and Gustavo Rondón (La Familia), giving her the experience to create her first professional short, Salta.
