An ode to an ages-old mode of production, the horror movie The Demon's Rook begins when a wizard monk takes our hero, Roscoe, to a demonic dimension at a young age. When Roscoe accidentally brings demons with him upon his return, he has to rely on his training to battle an army of the undead and the possessed living.
