The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin, which saw its world premiere at TFF 2014, is now the #1 Documentary on iTunes.

Bitcoin is a stateless digital currency that aims to democratize money-making by removing a central bank from the picture, offering an open-source algorithm in its place. But plagued with controversy (bankruptcy, drug trafficking,) Bitcoin has seen a halting start. The documentary addresses all these issues, noting that trust built over time is crucial for any start-up, and particularly in the case of proposing a new way of exchanging money. 

Several months after the documentary's premiere, The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin is now available on iTunes and continues to capture everyone's attention.
