With nowhere else to go, Hector, a troubled teen from the Harlem projects, seeks the help of his doorman father during a shift at work. When his father refuses to help, Hector forms a surprising bond with Lilly, a lonely girl who feels trapped in the restrictions of her Upper East Side life.

SHANDOR GARRISON is an award-winning filmmaker from Brooklyn. In addition to making 11 short films and the Web series Brooklyn Is For Lovers, he has taught English in a Japanese kindergarten, insulated homes in rural Vermont, and produced benefit concerts with Bob Weir and Willie Nelson. He is pursuing his graduate degree in filmmaking at NYU.

RUSH SALES POLICY

When tickets for a screening or event are no longer available, they will be listed as RUSH. The Rush system functions as a stand-by line that will form at the venue approximately 45 minutes prior to scheduled start time. Admittance is based on availability and will begin 15 minutes prior to program start time. Rush Tickets are the same price as advance tickets payable upon entry. There is a limit of one Rush Ticket per person.
