About the Director(s)

Mohamed Achaour studied at a Moroccan high school and a Moroccan university. He has worked on both international and Moroccan film productions, written several scripts and directed short films. In November 2005, he took part in Tribeca Film Institute's Marrakech/Tribeca Filmmaker Exchange. George Rácz was born in 1967 in Transylvania, Romania. He studied mathematics and physics in high school and attended the medical university for 2 years. In 1989, before the collapse of the Berlin Wall, Rácz moved to Hungary where he continued his medical studies. In 1990, he realized that he didn't want to spend his whole life within the white walls of a hospital. He sold bananas on the street to pay the rent. After six years of hard work, Rácz decided to sail around the world to experience different cultures and make new friends. After building a sailboat, he visited Istanbul, Athena, Italy, stopping finally in Croatia when the money ran out. He eventually enroll in Hunter College in New York City to study film. In November 2005, he took part in Tribeca Film Institute's Marrakech/Tribeca Filmmaker Exchange.

RUSH SALES POLICY

When tickets for a screening or event are no longer available, they will be listed as RUSH. The Rush system functions as a stand-by line that will form at the venue approximately 45 minutes prior to scheduled start time. Admittance is based on availability and will begin 15 minutes prior to program start time. Rush Tickets are the same price as advance tickets payable upon entry. There is a limit of one Rush Ticket per person.
