What you need to browse: As part of the citywide celebration of Ol' Blue Eyes's big centennial, Michael Riedel, that notorious, modern-day Addison DeWitt of the New York Post, has compiled a delicious rundown of the people, places, and things that comprised Frank Sinatra's life in New York City, from his favorite gourmet hangouts to the classic black fedoras, bow ties, and other vintage memorabilia that are now on display in the exhibition "Sinatra: An American Icon," which runs through September at the Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center at the New York Public Library from the Performing Arts.
Tribeca says: Get in on this celebration of all things Sinatra at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival with "Sinatra at 100: Film & Music," a multi-day tribute to this icon of song and cinema that will feature screenings of such Hollywood classics as High Society, Some Came Running, and On the Town, the latter of which will be followed by an all-star musical tribute to the Sultan of Swoon himself by the likes of Tony Bennett, Ne-Yo, Savion Glover, The Killers' Brandon Flowers and Lea DeLaria, among others, on Tuesday, April 21st.
