Alex Karpovsky On Filmmaking: 'Every Step of the Way Is Scary'

"It's terrifying when we start editing, it's terrifying when we have to do reshoots because we made mistakes, it's terrifying when we're about to do our first test screening, and it's terrifying when we premiere it. It's terrifying when we release it -- every step of the way is scary."

Alex Karpovsky (Girls, Rubberneck, Red Flag) may have several films under his belt, but that doesn't mean any of the production process comes easy. In this February 11 Future of Film interview with Filmmaker Mag's Nick Dawson at Tribeca Cinemas, he gets honest with the audience in saying that it's perfectly natural to be daunted by every step of making a movie.
