Andinh Ha attended the University of California at Berkeley, where he studied sociology and became involved in theater. He attended NYU's graduate film program and shot his thesis film in Saigon. Tati Barrantes was born in Lima, Peru. Her multicultural heritage has been her biggest influence throughout her creative career. She directed multiple award-winning films at NYU's graduate film program.
