Fresh off the success of their most recent film, the Kanye West documentary, jeen-yuhs, the Tribeca alumni team of Coodie & Chike return to the festival to discuss the art and ethics of directing documentary films with Loren Hammonds, the Co-Head of Documentary at TIME STUDIO.

Loren Hammonds

Loren Hammonds is a NYC native who has worked in the entertainment industry for over 20 years. He is Co-Head of Documentary at TIME Studios, overseeing the expansion of non-fiction feature, episodic, and immersive programming. Previously, he held the titles of Vice President of Immersive Programming at Tribeca Enterprises and Senior Programmer at Tribeca Festival. He most recently executive produced RIcky Powell: The Individualist (Showtime) and The Territory (Nat Geo). His views on cinematic and immersive storytelling have been featured in several publications and programs, including The New York Times, BBC Click, NPR, The Today Show, and Vice.

With one half hailing from Chicago and the other New Orleans, the award-winning duo Coodie & Chike crossed paths in New York in 2002. In 2004, their first collaboration, Kanye West "Through the Wire" video. The duo collaborated with artists such as Erykah Badu, and Joey Badass just to name a couple. Coodie & Chike went on to produce and direct several  documentaries,   ESPN 30 for 30 documentary entitled Benji,  BET Networks documentary titled Muhammad Ali: The Peoples Champ, and  Netflix's Stephon Marbury A KID FROM CONEY ISLAND, and Kanye West  jeen-yuhs.

Rush will be offered when advanced tickets for a screening or event are no longer available at venues other than Beacon Theatre.
The Rush system functions as a standby line that will form at the venue approximately one hour prior to scheduled start time. Admittance is based on availability and will begin roughly 10 minutes prior to program start time. Rush Tickets are the same price as advance tickets and are payable upon entry.
