Reigniting NYC: The Future of Hospitality in a Resilient City

Reigniting NYC: The Future of Hospitality in a Resilient City

Tribeca Talks
| 60 MINUTES

New York City bars and restaurants have been the backdrop for some of life’s most important moments and some of the film industry’s biggest movies and iconic scenes. They are the life force of our neighborhoods and an epicenter of activity, providing not only jobs, but memories and connections to the community. With so many empty bar stools and dining rooms this past year, a big piece of our community was lost. It’s time for New York to come together and celebrate their local bars and restaurants again.

Tribeca Film Festival and Bulleit Frontier Whiskey are teaming up with a group of innovative leaders and local New Yorkers in hospitality, spirits and film to ignite the conversation around the road to recovery and inspire the community to get involved by asking the hard questions as they discuss the path forward, reflect on what their local bars mean to them and dissect what the future of NYC hospitality will look like.

Panelists include Sophie Kelly, SVP Whiskies, Diageo North America, Paula Weinstein, Executive Vice President, Tribeca Enterprises and Matthew Miele, Director of Turning Tables: Cooking, Serving, and Surviving in a Global Pandemic. Moderated by Colman Domingo.
