After Wendy gets dumped and then evicted from her Brooklyn apartment, she befriends some locals, who offer to help her with the eviction. The thing is, they’re mafia members, and by “help,” they mean something rather more nefarious.

Jean Pesce received her M.F.A. from New York University’s graduate film school. Her screenplay, The Rovers, was selected for the Black List Feature Writers Lab and was a finalist at the Austin Film Festival. Jean worked in New York City as a location manager and producer, before she moved to Los Angeles with her rescue dog, Henry.
