Tribeca Film Festival’s New Online Work (N.O.W.) section recognizes and premieres the work of independent storytellers who choose to create and distribute their work in the online space. Featuring episodic, short form, and documentary work, the Tribeca N.O.W. Showcase official selections have included High Maintenance, The Gay and Wondrous Life of Caleb Gallo, Dinette, and Kiss of the Rabbit God.
A complimentary piece of the New Online Work section is the N.O.W. Creators Market, a daylong, private industry pitch market that takes place during the Tribeca Film Festival. Bringing together the N.O.W. Showcase selectees and additional online, immersive and podcast creators specially curated for the event, the Creators Market pairs these storytellers with a wide range of industry delegates for 20 minute pitch meetings. Previous industry participants have included multi-channel networks, traditional media producers and distributors, brands and VR/AR producers looking for new content and fresh voices. Held over the course of one morning session and one afternoon session, the Creators Market facilitates casual networking, collaboration, and the opportunity for creators to pitch new and exciting projects.
