The Tribeca Creators Market features a highly curated selection of storytellers pitching new feature, episodic and audio projects to an array of companies and influential industry leaders. A pillar of Tribeca’s commitment to supporting storytellers in all stages of their careers, the Creators Market puts a strong emphasis on diversity and forms of storytelling, providing industry with a group of fresh and provocative voices.

The Market kicks off with the Works in Progress showcase on Monday, June 8th, with its participants having largely been culled from an open call of submissions. Fourteen storytellers have been selected to preview their feature narrative and/or documentary projects to a highly curated room of industry professionals, including financiers, festival programmers and producers. This showcase serves as an early entry point into Tribeca’s broader marketplace pipeline, supporting projects from inception through development, and potentially into future Festival Official Selections and distribution. In-person, one-on-one meetings between creators and invited industry representatives will take place on Tuesday June 9th, and virtual meetings will take place on Wednesday June 10th. The Tribeca Creators Market - as well as the Works in Progress - are private, by-invitation-only events, curated for our participating storytellers and industry reps.

Recent  Works in Progress alumni include: 2024 participant Esta Isla (This Island), which went on to win the Best New Narrative Director Award at the 2025 Tribeca Festival and the John Cassavetes Award at the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards; Are We Good?, the 2025 Marc Maron feature documentary; and The Price of Milk, a docuseries released in 2025. Other esteemed alumni include 2022 Works in Progress participants The Gullspång Miracle, winner of Best Documentary Editing at the 2023 Tribeca Festival; and Off Fairfax, a 2022 Tribeca Indie TV selection, now in development at Amazon MGM Studios
