| 390 MINUTESLIVE SHOW: Sunday 6/12 7:30PM - 11:30PM
DJ SETS: Sunday 6/12 11:30PM - 2:00AM
Partnering with The Drunken Canal, Tribeca Festival is presenting “NY Battle of the Bands”. New York City bands will be battling it out in front of a VIP juror that has to take into account public voting.
The Drunken Canal
Launched by Claire Banse and Gutes Guterman, The Drunken Canal is one of very few downtown media projects that have been flourishing in reaction to the dominance of giant online media, the homogenization of big social media platforms that make communities feel global, not local and the overwhelming sense that nobody in the media was having fun in the grim year of 2020.
DJ SETS
Matt FX
DJ, producer, music supervisor, and tv host—Matt FX is the definitive multihyphenate.
As a DJ, Matt approaches each and every set with an irreverence that the New York Times calls 'interesting social commentary on multiple levels' and has shared lineups with everyone from Soul Clap and Disclosure to Snoop Dogg and Ty Dolla $ign.
Beacon Theatre
The Rush system functions as a standby line that will form at the venue approximately one hour prior to scheduled start time. Admittance is based on availability and will begin roughly 10 minutes prior to program start time. Rush Tickets are the same price as advance tickets and are payable upon entry.
