After he finished school, Andreas Kessler began working as a film editor in Berlin while making shorts that were shown and awarded internationally and broadcast on German television. Blind Audition was shortlisted for a Bafta Student Film Award and nominated for the German Short Film Award. He now studies directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
