Jennifer Flanz
Jen Flanz is Executive Producer and Co-Showrunner of The Daily Show. She has been a pillar there for 20 years. Flanz helms the day-to-day production of nightly episodes, specials and live events, also orchestrating multiple Daily Show books. She has helped cover every election since 2000 and cast many of the show’s greatest talents. Her biggest undertaking was the show’s 2015 host transition from Jon Stewart to Trevor Noah. Her producing roles have won her seven Emmy Awards. Jen’s non-Daily Show hours are spent collaborating on TV and film projects, developing a dating app, endlessly cleaning her closets and instagramming pictures of her dog.
Steve Bodow
Steve Bodow is a 14-time Emmy-winning Executive Producer of The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, and formerly of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, which he joined in 2002 as a staff writer. Steve is also Consulting Producer on TDS's companion show, The Opposition with Jordan Klepper. His priors include stints as a theater director (NYC's Elevator Repair Service) and a magazine writer (Wired, NYTimes, NY Magazine.) He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two daughters.
Robert & Michelle King
A Golden Globe Award and Emmy Award-nominated writing team, Robert and Michelle King have been creative collaborators for 20 years and married for OVER 30. In addition to The Good Fight they also created The Good Wife, BrainDeadon CBS, and the 2006 drama In Justice. Robert and Michelle have been honored by their peers from the American Film Institute, the Writers Guild of America and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and the Television Critics Association. The Kings were awarded the Sidney Lumet Award for Integrity in Entertainment, the Humanitas Prize and the prestigious Peabody Award.
Joe McGovern
As a writer and editor for Entertainment Weekly (from 2012 to 2017), Joe wrote about TV projects such as HBO's The Night Of, FX's The People vs. O.J. Simpson, and the films La La Land, Moonlight, and Deadpool, among others. He has reported oral histories on movies from The Terminator to Love Actually, and authored long-form true crime pieces on Rebecca Schaeffer and Marie McDonald. He has profiled actors and filmmakers such as Cate Blanchett, Tom Ford, Nicole Kidman, Wong Kar Wai, and Sophia Loren. Joe lives in Brooklyn and currently freelances for Time Out New York and other publications.
Beacon Theatre
The Rush system functions as a standby line that will form at the venue approximately one hour prior to scheduled start time. Admittance is based on availability and will begin roughly 10 minutes prior to program start time. Rush Tickets are the same price as advance tickets and are payable upon entry.
