Ever leave a movie dying to know why a certain actor was cast or scene was shot a specific way? Or perhaps you always wonder what it was like behind the scenes? We know we do. So, along the lines of the Tribeca Talks series held at our annual Festival, we're pushing the bounds of the good old director Q&A into the 21st century—to be specific, the Twittersphere.

On Thursday, March 29, at 10 pm ET/ 7 pm PT, director Tony Kaye (American History X) will be live with us—and all of you!—on Twitter to answer any and all questions that you may have about his new Tribeca film, Detachment. Leading up to 10pm Eastern on Thursday, just send a tweet to @TribecaFilm #Detachment, asking Tony anything you want about his striking new movie. Tony will then reply to your questions right on the TribecaFilm Twitter page. It's as simple as that!

Tribeca and Tony are both thrilled to open up this chat to film fans worldwide, so don't miss out! Detachment boasts an all-star cast of Adrien Brody (who also produced the film), Marcia Gay Harden, James Caan, Christina Hendricks, Lucy Liu, Blythe Danner, Bryan Cranston, and the exceptional newcomers Sami Gayle and Betty Kaye. Detachment is currently playing in select cities and available online on VOD, so hurry up! Watch the movie—if you haven't already—so that you can join in Thursday night for this Twitterview and rare chance to pick the brain of one of Hollywood's most fascinating directors.
