Take a brief respite from TFF this year and register for the first 9/11 Memorial 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, April 21.

Registration is Open for the 9/11 Memorial 5K Run/Walk and Family Day

Support the National September 11 Memorial & Museum by registering for the first-annual 9/11 Memorial 5K Run/Walk. April 21 marks the 4th anniversary of the day that President Barack Obama signed the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act, recognizing September 11 as a national day of service and remembrance. Online registration is currently open so take advantage, as space is limited. There is no fee for children under 12, but they must be registered.

Everyone is welcome to join in the fun at Family day during or after the 9/11 Memorial 5K Run/Walk. This free event, located on Vesey Street between Church Street and Broadway, will include activities, snacks, and beverages for the whole family. In the spirit of the National 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance, you’ll also be able to learn about volunteer opportunities while enjoying the day’s festivities.

As community is essential to the revitalization of lower Manhattan, we invite you to join us the following Saturday (March 27) for the Tribeca Family Fest Street Fair. Located on Greenwich Street between Chambers and Hubert Streets, this free annual event features live performances, activities, games and contests that will delight even the pickiest member of your brood.

So steal a few hours away from your TFF 2013 experience to support the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. There will be plenty of great movies and events waiting for you upon your return. We promise.
