Celebrate Halloween At Tribeca Cinemas With ‘Beetlejuice’
Don’t say his name three times! Kick off the spookiest holiday of the year with ‘Beetlejuice’ on October 30 at Tribeca Cinemas.
Who’s the ghost with the most? Why it’s Beetlejuice, of course! To get in the Halloween spirit, our friends at Tribeca Cinemas are hosting a special screening of Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice. Starring Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis and Catherine O’ Hara, this 1988 classic is even funnier (and creepier) on the big screen.
Recently killed in an automobile accident, Adam (Baldwin) and Barbara (Davis) are forced to deal with a family of artists, including their sullen, but sensitive daughter Lydia (Ryder), who move into their apparently empty home. Confused and upset, the couple desperately tries to scare them away with no success. They soon turn to Beetlejuice (Keaton), a “bio-exorcist,” for help, and the consequences are both scary and hilarious.
Tickets are only $15, and the doors will open at 7:30PM with the screening starting at 8:30PM. Audience members (and Halloween revelers!) can take advantage of a FREE one-hour Sobieski Vodka & Beetle Juice bar in the hour before the show begins. Costumes, of course, are strongly encouraged. In case you needed an incentive to dress up, there will drink giveaways for creative costumes and an all-night open bar for the winner of the costume contest! In case you are coming straight from work, there will be Halloween face painting for those who want to join the themed-celebration!
After the movie, make sure to stick around for a Monster Mash Dance Party! If you just want to go to the party, admission is only $5 after 10pm or absolutely free for people in costumes. Just don’t forget your “Handbook for the Recently Deceased!”
