Getting bored of the same old, same old? Our immersive Cinema360 program — a series of virtual reality projects in partnership with Oculus TV — let our audience step into someone else’s shoes, and now we’ve got the behind-the-scenes scoop on how such eye-popping programs come alive.

 

From our home to yours, we’re thrilled to share our Tribeca Talks at Home series, presented by AT&T. First up: “Kinfolk,” a panel moderated by senior programmer Loren Hammonds. Get inside the brains of immersive experts Ainslee Robson, Diego Kompel, and Min-Wei Kuo:

 

 

“Seventeen Plus,” below, is a conversation inspired by mind-bending thrillers and future cult classics designed for more mature audiences. Voices of VR’s Kent Bye chats with creators Dimitris Tsilifonis, Enrique Agudo, and Mihai Grecu:

 

 

“Dreams to Remember,” meanwhile, is all about capturing the perfect adventure journey — something that’s even more relevant when dreams are just about the only way to travel right now. Maria Courtial, Youngyun Song, Sngmoo Lee, Brooke Danaher, Will Perkins, Tal Midyan, and Oleg Nikolaenko take you on a deep dive through VR:

 

 

Last but certainly not least, “Pure Imagination” toys with innovation, illusion, and a healthy dose of inspiration. In a discussion moderated by Ingrid Kopp, Samantha Quick, Si-Hup Sung, Carol Liu, Shannon Jackson, and Van Phan explain how they make magic happen.
