Today, our festival stands as a cultural and artistic touchpoint the world over. But it started as a tribute – to those we lost on September 11, 2001, to New Yorkers who risked their lives to save others, and to lower Manhattanites whose lives and community would never be the same.
 
Year after year and, we’re proud to honor that tribute across our programming, community and artistic initiatives, and public events.
 
We invite you to join us on April 26th for the 9/11 Memorial 5K Run/Walk to raise awareness about the National September 11Memorial & Museum and encourage volunteerism in honor of  9/11. Registration is open through April 23, 2015. There is no fee for children under 12, but they must be registered to participate.
