Olivia Wilde Drama from 2015 Tribeca Film Festival Receives Distribution Deal
Reed Morano's crushing psychological drama Meadowland is just the latest 2015 Tribeca Film Festival selection to receive distribution after making its world premiere at this April's Festival.
Cinedigm has scooped up all North American distribution rights to the film, which marks the directorial debut of acclaimed indie cinematographer Morano, who has done excellent work for years in projects like Frozen River, The Skeleton Twins, and HBO's Looking.
Meadowland traces the personal unravelings of a grieving New York couple (star/producer Olivia Wilde and Luke Wilson) following an unimaginable family tragedy. The film, which Cinedigm plans to release in theaters come October, also features a sprawling cast that stretches to include such diverse players as Kevin Corrigan, Mark Feuerstein, Kid Cudi, John Leguizamo, Elisabeth Moss, Giovanni Ribisi, Nick Sandow, Juno Temple, and Merritt Wever.
You're going to want to keep an eye out for this one.
