TFF 2013 Trailer of the Day: ‘Farah Goes Bang’
Written and directed by Meera Menon, this favorite from TFF 2013 explores ethnic, political and feminine ideals in post- 9/11 America.

Filmmaker Meera Menon received the inaugural Nora Ephron Prize at this year’s Festival for her feature debut, Farah Goes Bang. The film follows twenty-somethings Farah, K.J. and Roopa as they hit in road to campaign for John Kerry in the 2004 presidential election.
Anchored by a strong lead performance from newcomer Nikohl Boosheri, this film follows the three women as as they travel across the culturally-divided. Farah Goes Bang is in this film that is equal parts buddy comedy, sex romp and chick flick.
