Legendary Tennessee basketball coach Pat Summitt shocked the sports world by resigning as coach of her beloved Lady Vols due to her diagnosis of early-onset Alzheimer’s.

Made as almost a love letter to Summitt, this film consists of extremely personal statements from the many athletes and associates (including Peyton Manning and Chamique Holdsclaw) whose lives have been touched by Summitt. The participants were given a camera and film themselves as they share reflections on their interactions with the sports icon and on the ways that she has touched their lives.  Pat XO, which serves as a living documentation of Summit’s legacy, will air as part of ESPN’s Nine for IX series on July 9.
