This really is a bit of a long shot, isn’t it?

Written and directed by John Carney (Once), Begin Again is the story of two broken people who somehow manage to find each other.  Mark Ruffalo plays Dan, a disgraced music executive, who just happens to hear the lovely, but heartbroken Gretta (Keira Knightley) perform in a cafe after she is dumped by her college sweetheart-turned-music sensation (Adam Levine). 

Also starring Haliee Steinfeld, James Corden, CeeLo Green and Catherine Keener, this soul-stirring comedy gets its rhythm from its setting—New York City in the summer time. The Weinstein Company will release the film on July 4 in theaters across the country.
