TFF2015 Jason Schwartzman Comedy Comes to Vulture Festival this Weekend
Patrick Brice's raucous marital comedy The Overnight, which made its New York premiere at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival, is coming back this weekend as part of an exclusive screening at the second annual Vulture Festival, a two-day "pop-culture extravaganza" hosted by New York Magazine and Vulture.
The screening, which takes place this Saturday at Tribeca Cinemas from 5 PM to 9 PM, also includes an after-film discussion with film critic David Edelstein, writer-director Brice, and lead actors Jason Schwartzman and Judith Godrèche, who play one half of a married foursome that begins to explore new, weirder realms of intimacy during an extended, late-night "playdate." (Taylor Schilling and Adam Scott play the other, more humdrum couple.)
Tickets for this particular screening are sold out but passes for plenty of other, equally exciting Vulture Fest events are still available: Lisa Kudrow in conversation about The Comeback! A Q&A with John Green, God of Young Adult Lit! Panels and roundtables with voice actors, screenwriters, and celebrity stylists! A night of stand-up comedy! Brunch with Broadway stars! Snatch up your tickets now for these events and be sure to keep an eye out for The Overnight, when it arrives in theaters on June 19th.
