If you didn’t get to see The One I Love at this year’s Festival, our pals at Rooftop Films have got you covered. First time director (and acclaimed author) Charlie McDowell deftly helms the unlikely and utterly original love story from newcomer Justin Lader.

Acting on advice from their therapist (Ted Danson), Ethan (Mark Duplass) and Sophie (Elisabeth Moss) go on a retreat to a remote cabin as a last-ditch attempt to save their fledging marriage. Once they arrive, the couple begins to experience mysterious phenomena, and their romantic getaway turns into an entirely different creature all together.

We hesitate to say more because the twists and turns of this love story are half the fun! Coupled with great performances from Duplass and Moss, this is one special sneak preview you don’t want to miss. Tickets are on sale now for the Monday, August 4th screening at Rooftop Films’s Industry City location.
