Tribeca Film Institute hosted the World Premiere of Nancy Meyers' forthcoming The Intern, starring Tribeca's own Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway, on Monday, September 21st, to raise funds for their year-round filmmaker, interactive, and education programs.

De Niro stars as 70-year-old widower Ben Whittaker, who, after discovering that retirement isn't all it's cracked up to be, seizes the opportunity to get back in the game by becoming a senior intern at an online fashion site, founded and run by Jules Ostin (Hathaway).

The premiere took place at the Ziegfeld Theatre followed by an exclusive after-party at Tavern on the Green.
