Labeling fashion designer Martin Margiela "elusive" would be an understatement. His TFF2015 mini-doc however, didn't go unnoticed.

WWD Weighs In On Martin Margiela Mini Doc

The Belgian-born creative -- and subject of TFF2015 documentary "The Artist is Absent" -- is as known for his black-on-black, deconstructed aesthetic as he is for evading the media at every turn, including his own runway shows and the film itself.

Which made his 10-minute mini biopic (which featured design world stars Raf Simons, Jean Paul Gaultier, Olivier Saillard and Suzy Menkes, but not Margiela himself) that much more interesting.
