TRIBECA AND HBO ANNOUNCE AN EVENING WITH LARRY DAVID AHEAD OF ‘CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM’ SERIES FINALE
NEW YORK – (March 14, 2024) – Tribeca and HBO today announced an Evening with Larry David on Friday, April 5 at 6:30 p.m. ET at Warner Bros. Discovery at 30 Hudson Yards for fans and Tribeca members. The event will take place ahead of the CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM series finale on Sunday, April 7 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and available to stream on Max. David will reflect upon the Emmy® and Golden Globe®-winning HBO Original comedy series’ 12 seasons.
“Larry David broke the mold with ‘Seinfeld’ and then rewrote the rules with ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm.’ His unique perspective and original voice has forever changed us,” said Jane Rosenthal, cofounder and CEO of Tribeca Enterprises. “Saying goodbye to ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ after a quarter of a century is truly a historic moment, and Tribeca is honored to play a small part as the co-host of this special event.”
The evening will include a never-before-seen highlight reel of favorite scenes and moments from the beloved show, which first aired in 2000. David will close out the evening by taking questions from the audience. A reception will follow the main event.
Starring Larry David as an over-the-top version of himself, the iconic Emmy® and Golden Globe®-winning comedy series CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM offers a tongue-in-cheek depiction of the writer/producer/comedian’s fictionalized life. The comedy series continues to prove how seemingly trivial details of one's day-to-day life can precipitate a catastrophic chain of events. To keep the narrative spontaneous, the series is shot without a script and cast members are given scene outlines and improvise lines as they go.
The series also stars Jeff Garlin (“The Goldbergs”), Susie Essman (“Broad City”), Cheryl Hines (“Suburgatory”), J.B. Smoove (“Mapleworth Murders”), Richard Lewis (“Anything But Love”), Ted Danson ("The Good Place”), Vince Vaughn ("Wedding Crashers”) and Tracey Ullman ("Tracey Ullman’s Show”).
CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM is created by Larry David; executive producers, Larry David, Jeff Garlin, Jeff Schaffer; co-executive producers, Laura Streicher, Jennifer Corey.
