TRIBECA FESTIVAL AT ART BASEL MIAMI BEACH ANNOUNCES LINEUP
Program Includes Live Talk with Camila Cabello; Performances by Magdalena Bay, Natasha Diggs, Luedji Luna; and a Retrospective Screening of “The Birdcage”
New York, NY, October 29, 2023 – The Tribeca Festival today announced the lineup for the third annual Tribeca Festival at Art Basel Miami Beach from December 4-7, organized in association with Art Basel. The event series, presented in partnership with The Ordinary, features an exclusive conversation with Grammy-nominated pop star Camila Cabello, four nights of live music by breakthrough artists, and a special retrospective screening. This year, the Tribeca Festival at Art Basel Miami Beach takes over the iconic Miami Beach Bandshell. The celebration coincides with Art Basel Miami Beach, Art Basel's leading fair in the Americas for Modern and Contemporary Art, taking place at the Miami Beach Convention Center from December 6-8, with VIP preview days on December 4 and 5.
Headlining the program is a conversation with diamond-certified, Cuban-born singer-songwriter, actress, and activist Camila Cabello about the creative process. Music performances feature a homecoming show by Miami’s alternative pop duo Magdalena Bay following a sold-out world tour, and Latin Grammy-nominated, Brazilian singer-songwriter Luedji Luna. DJ sets include Soul in the Horn’s Natasha Diggs. Rounding out the lineup is a retrospective screening of Mike Nichols’ “The Birdcage,” followed by a live performance by local drag queens.
“It’s been said that the best music festival in New York City is Tribeca… a film festival. From the most iconic musicians of our day to emerging local bands, Tribeca loves to bring artists and audiences together for a big party, and that’s exactly what we’ll be doing in Miami Beach for our third annual Tribeca Festival at Art Basel” said Tribeca Co-Founder and CEO Jane Rosenthal. “This year’s genre-bridging lineup features some of the most impactful artists of 2024.”
This marks the third year of the Tribeca Festival partnering with Art Basel Miami Beach to bring live music to the annual art fair. Past performances and DJ sets include Eartheater, Flying Lotus, The Dare, and Yussef Dayes. Previous headlining conversations include Robert De Niro and French artist JR, Chance the Rapper, John Stamos, and the cast of MAX Original’s “Rap Sh!t.”
The Ordinary believes quality skincare belongs to everybody and is partnering with Tribeca to celebrate shared values centered on community, accessibility and quality.
