Cadillac Formula 1® Team: The Mission Begins

The film reimagines a traditional F1 livery reveal as a national mission.

It uses an excerpt from JFK’s “We Choose To Go” speech as its narrative backbone with additional audio courtesy of NASA’s Apollo 11 Mission Control Archives and an original score by Oscar-nominee Max Richter. The speech, one of the most defining expressions of American ambition, becomes a declaration of intent for Cadillac Formula 1® Team.

As JFK’s words build in intensity, the car assembles in zero gravity. Individual components float into place with purpose as the driver appears suspended like an astronaut preparing for launch. The absence of gravity transforms the act of assembly into something almost mythic, elevating the car beyond machinery into a symbol of collective effort.

Landing on a call-to-action to “Join The Mission,” the film communicates this is not simply a new team joining the grid. It is a long-term mission driven by ingenuity, teamwork, and resolve.
