Tribeca Film Acquires ‘Beneath the Harvest Sky’

Starring Emory Cohen (The Place Beyond the Pines) and Callan Mcauliffe (The Great Gatsby), Beneath the Harvest Sky made its world premiere at the 2013 Toronto Film Festival. The film beautifully conveys the youthful frustration and sense of longing prevalent among youths on the brink of adulthood. It also has the distinction of being the first narrative feature from seasoned documentarians Aron Gaudet and Gita Pullapilly.

Set deep in the heart of northern Maine, Beneath the Harvest Sky tells the story of two young men in the last summer of their adolescence working the potato fields. As the boys struggle to make good choices, unforeseen obstacles—unstable parental relationships, a teen pregnancy and an unlikely summer romance—threaten their chances of leaving their small town to start life elsewhere.

Also starring Aidan Gillen, David Denman, W. Earl Brown and Carla Gallo, Beneath the Harvest Sky will be available on VOD and digital platforms sometime next year.
