First Ever Call for Podcast Submissions

Present your podcast at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival, taking place June 9-20, 2021.

First Ever Call for Podcast Submissions

Big news, podcast fans and creators! For the first time ever, Tribeca Film Festival is opening up submissions for podcasts, our new vertical dedicated to audio storytelling. We’re looking for engaging fiction and narrative non-fiction audio stories and podcasts to showcase during our 20th-anniversary festival, taking place June 9-20, 2021.

Submissions open December 2, 2020 for Official Selection consideration, with juried awards being granted to one fiction project and one narrative nonfiction project. You may remember Tribeca’s history of supporting audio storytelling. In addition to our current Tribeca Talks Podcast, the science fiction podcast “Earth Break: A Few Suggestions For Survival, With Additional Hints and Tips About How to Make Yourself More Comfortable During the Alien Apocalypse” — featuring a voice performance by Jenny Slate — made its world premiere at the 2019 Festival.

In 2021, we’ll be highlighting tons more audio storytelling. Look out for world premieres and sneak peeks of highly anticipated podcasts, talks with renowned audio creators, and live recordings. Don’t miss the chance to share your stories with us when submissions open on December 2! The initial deadline for podcast submissions is January 13, 2021, with a final deadline of January 29. In the meantime, click here to learn more about all our submission categories, or browse original Tribeca podcasts you can listen to right now.
