James Franco Q&As This Weekend at Sundance Sunset in LA

James Franco’s Sal dramatizes the last day in the life of actor Sal Mineo, the teen idol turned tragic Hollywood icon. One of the first openly gay stars, Mineo had been relegated to small roles on television and in B movies for most of his adult life. Franco’s Sal focuses on the actor’s final few hours and serves as a showcase for actor Val Lauren, who provides a compassionate and honest portrayal of Mineo.

Sal opens this weekend (November 1) in LA at the Sundance Sunset. Franco will in person for Q&A’s at 7:30PM shows and will introduce the 10:00PM shows on Friday and Saturday nights. Click here to purchase your tickets.
