'The Broken Circle Breakdown' is Now Playing in NYC

If you’re a New Yorker who missed The Broken Circle Breakdown at TFF 2013, you can remedy that misfortune. Winner of two prizes at this year’s Festival (Best Screenplay for a Narrative Feature Film and Best Actress in a Narrative Feature Film for Veerle Bartens), this romantic melodrama follows the love story of two artists as they meet and try to build a life together.

Bonding over their shared enthusiasm for American music and culture, quirky tattoo artist Elise (Bartens) and bluegrass lover Didier (Johan Heldenbergh) believe that their new family is untouchable—and then an unexpected tragedy occurs. Described by The Playlist as “an immaculately observed story of love, loss and bluegrass music,” The Broken Circle Breakdown will stay with you long after the credits roll.

The Broken Circle Breakdown opens is currently playing in NYC at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema. Click here to purchase your tickets.
