U.S. Premiere, Tickets Available

Although the ALS ice bucket challenge made its rounds without leaving a single person dry last summer, the struggle to fund treatment initiatives still thrives. Transfatty Lives, celebrating its U.S. Premiere at the Festival tonight, is an autobiographical film from ALS patient Patrick O'Brien about the resilience of the human spirit while living with a terminal disease. Tickets are still available to the opening night screening at Regal Cinemas Battery Park at 6:15.
