Join TFI For a 20th Anniversary Screening of ‘A Bronx Tale’

“The saddest thing in life is wasted talent."

Robert De Niro made his directorial debut 20 years ago with A Bronx Tale, a film based on a one-man show by Chazz Palminteri, who also wrote the adapted the screenplay. The story focuses on the changing relationship between a father and son over a number of years, a relationship that becomes particularly strained when the son comes under the influence of a local gangster. This complex coming-of-age story is propelled by the performances of its exceptional cast, which includes Palminteri, Lilo Brancato, Jr., Francis Capra, Joe Pesci and De Niro himself. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of this archetypal New York film, our friends at the Tribeca Film Institute and First Time Fest are offering a special 20th Anniversary screening of A Bronx Tale on Monday, February 24th at Village East Cinema in NYC. As if that weren’t enough, De Niro and Palminteri will attend the Q&A session after the screening in person. Tickets are now available for purchase, so act fast!
