We’re pleased to announce that Tribeca Film has acquired the rights to Some Velvet Morning, the latest film from seasoned filmmaker/playwright Neil LaBute. Anchored by Alice Eve (Star Trek Into Darkness, Starter for 10) and Academy Award® nominee Stanley Tucci (The Lovely Bones, The Devil Wears Prada), this meticulously paced drama explores the relationship between a man and his mistress after four years spent apart.

In this thought-provoking and engaging film, LaBute provides a sharply written portrayal of a very modern romance. Eve and Tucci contribute complex and nuanced performances in this unique two-character drama. As aptly described by Film.com, the stunning finale “doubles-down, then kicks you in the stomach as you lay on the carpet.”  

Look for Some Velvet Morning on VOD and digital platforms beginning December 10 and in select theaters starting December 13.
