We’re happy to announce that Tribeca Film has acquired the U.S rights to Open Grave, a thought-provoking thriller directed by Gonzalo López-Gallego. Starring Sharlto Copley, Joseph Morgan, Josie Ho and Thomas Kretschmann, the film will play at the prestigious Sitges Film Festival in Spain later this month.

Written by Chris and Eddie Borey, Open Grave follows a man (District 9’s Copley) who wakes up in a pit of dead bodies with no memory of who he is or how he got there. As he escapes from the mass grave, he stumbles upon a nearby house where he is met at gunpoint by a group of frightened strangers who also have no memories. As they all try to discern their identities, the group must deal with the fact that the killer (or killers) might just be among them.

Look for this unique and breathlessly paced thriller this December from Tribeca Film on VOD and digital platforms, followed by a theatrical release in most major markets.
