International Premiere

Netherlands | 28 MINUTES | Dutch |

This short film is both a road movie about four young people traveling to Kosovo to donate an ambulance and a documentary about the situation of young Kosovars today, five years after the international intervention. The four travelers interview people they have gotten to know during the last five years on their trips to Kosovo and others who they meet for the first time on this journey.

Directed by Arnold van Bruggen

Eefje Blankevoort, Roos Boer, Arnold van Bruggen and Tomas Kaan all study history and international relations at the University of Amsterdam and are working as freelance filmmakers and journalists. While working as volunteers for the humanitarian students organization Mara, they decided to make a film about the complicated situation in Kosovo. Amsterdam-Kosovo is their first film.
