Accessibility information will be regularly updated here as venues, events and programs for the 2024 Tribeca Festival are finalized.

The following information pertains to in-person events and screenings at the 2024 Tribeca Festival. This page will be updated on a rolling basis. The following information was updated February 2024.

Closed captions and audio descriptions

Tribeca makes best efforts to ensure that films that are part of the regular film program have closed captions available and encourages films to provide audio descriptions. Once available, the online 2024 Festival guide will be regularly updated to indicate which screenings have closed captions and audio descriptions.

Onsite accessibility devices

Closed captioning, assisted listening and/or audio description devices will be available at regular screening venues, including:

AMC 19th Street
Beacon Theatre
BMCC TPAC
SVA Theatre
Spring Studios
Village East Cinemas by Angelika

Onsite venue staff will be available to assist with access to devices. Please direct any advanced questions or requests to accessibility@tribecafilm.com.

ASL interpreters:

ASL interpreters will be available by request for public Festival events and screenings. Tribeca will make best efforts to fulfill requests made by 10 days in advance of the screening or event. Requests can be made to accessibility@tribecafilm.com.

Venue accessibility

AlTribeca strives to use screening venues that are ADA compliant and accessible. 2024 public Festival events will take place at the following venues:

AMC 19th St. East 6 - All theaters are wheelchair accessible.
BMCC TPAC - Theater is wheelchair accessible.
Baby’s All Right - Venue is wheelchair accessible. Note this is a music performance venue with limited seating available.
Beacon Theatre - Theater is wheelchair accessible. Reserved accessible and companion seats will be available on the designated event page at ticketmaster.com once tickets are on sale. On sale date is to be announced.
SVA Theatre - Theaters are wheelchair accessible.
Spring Studios - Note the accessible entrance for Spring Studios is located at 6 St. John’s Lane. (The primary entrance at 50 Varick Street does not have a lift or lamp.) Onsite staff and signage will be available to assist with directions and access to the entrance at 6 St. John’s Lane.
Village East by Angelika - All theaters are wheelchair accessible.

Tribeca will endeavor to provide information regarding the number and location of wheelchair accessible seats at a particular venue. Requests for such information should be made to accessibility@tribecafilm.com.

Tickets, Ticket Package and Passes

Patrons with disabilities who purchase a ticket, ticket package or pass prior to accessibility information being posted will be entitled to a full refund if such patron has accessibility concerns in connection with any of the Festival venues.

Discounted industry passes are available by request. Please email accessibility@tribecafilm.com about availability.

Personal attendants and aides

Patrons who require a personal attendant to join them to events may request a complimentary ticket or access for a companion once 2024 Festival tickets are made available. Please contact the Box Office to fulfill requests at boxoffice@tribecafilm.com or by phone at (646) 502-5296 or (866) 941-FEST (3378).
