Accessibility Information

Tribeca strives to make the Tribeca Festival an inclusive experience for all. We will continue to expand our accessibility policies and practices in effort to provide accommodations for attendees and guests.

Accessibility information will be regularly updated here as venues, events and programs for the 2023 Tribeca Festival are finalized.

The following information pertains to in-person events and screenings at the 2023 Tribeca Festival. This page will be updated on a rolling basis.

Closed captions and audio descriptions: Tribeca makes best efforts to ensure that films that are part of the regular film program have closed captions available and encourages films to provide audio descriptions. Once available, the online 2023 Festival guide will be regularly updated to indicate which screenings have closed captions and audio descriptions

Onsite accessibility devices: Closed captioning, assisted listening and/or audio description devices will be available at regular screening venues.

ASL interpreters: ASL interpreters will be available by request for public Festival events and screenings. Requests can be made closer to the 2023 Festival dates.

Venue accessibility: Tribeca strives to use screening venues that are ADA compliant and accessible. Once venues are selected, Tribeca will endeavor to provide information regarding the number and location of wheelchair accessible seats at a particular venue. Requests for such information should be made to accessbility@tribecafilm.com.

Tickets, Ticket Package and Passes: Patrons with disabilities who purchase a ticket, ticket package or pass prior to accessibility information being posted will be entitled to a full refund if such patron has accessibility concerns in connection with any of the Festival venues.

Discounted industry passes are available by request. Please email accessibility@tribecafilm.com about availability.

Personal attendants and aides: Patrons who require a personal attendant to join them to events may request a complimentary ticket or access for a companion once 2023 Festival tickets are made available. Please contact the Box Office to fulfill requests at boxoffice@tribecafilm.com or by phone at Local: (646) 502-5296 or (866) 941-FEST (3378).

Tribeca At Home screenings: Tribeca At Home is the online screening portion of the Tribeca Festival. Tribeca makes best efforts to ensure that films that are part of the regular film program slate have closed captions available on the At Home platform. Once available, the online 2023 Festival guide will be regularly updated to indicate which screenings have closed captions.

Questions and special requests: For any additional questions, requests or suggestions, please contact accessibility@tribecafilm.com. Note that further accessibility information will be made available as the 2023 Tribeca Festival program and event is confirmed.
