MAHMOOD SOLIMAN has published three short-story collections and several social, political, and opinion essays in Egyptian and Arab newspapers. His documentary feature Living Among Us was awarded Best Documentary at the National Festival for Cinema, the Ismailia International Film Festival, and the Corto Imola International Short Film Festival; and also won the Golden Prize at the Al-Jazeera Documentary Film Festival. He appeared at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2006 with his film Today 30 November.
