10 Most Striking Images From the 'Laggies' Trailer
Filmmaker Lynn Shelton reteams with cinematographer Benjamin Kasulke for their 5th feature together.
Lynn Shelton's new film Laggies is giving us a lot to talk about, and a lot to look at. Since its premiere at Sundance in January, Laggies has already recieved outstanding reviews, and is definitely getting us excited for its opening in October. Shelton's giving us Keira Knightley like we've never seen before- scrappy, lost, immature... and with an American accent! Not to mention the amazing supporting cast including: Chloe Grace Moretz, Sam Rockwell, and Ellie Kemper.
Shelton has enlisted cinematographer Benjamin Kasulke yet again, as this is the fifth film they are collaborating on together. We're excited to see how the dynamic duo will bring this stunted-coming-of-age story to life, and are already feasting our eyes on the gorgeous shots provided in the trailer.
Afraid to commit and start an adult life, Megan (Keira Knightley) tells her fiance that she's leaving town for a conference after he proposes to her at their high school reunion. Realizing that she needs time to figure out her life, Megan attaches herself to Annika (Chloe Grace Moretz), a high school student she buys alcohol for in the parking lot of a grocery store. Megan finds herself comfortable, and most of all stuck, in adolescence- unsure of what her next step will be.
