Watch the New Trailer for ‘Hide Your Smiling Faces’

This mesmerizing coming-of-age drama from TFF 2013 hits VOD and digital platforms on March 25.

You wanna die because you’re sad? That’s dumb.

Described by Indiewire as a “true discovery and a revelation,” Daniel Patrick Carbone’s debut feature, Hide Your Smiling Faces, mesmerized audiences at last year’s Festival.

Set over the course of one long New Jersey summer, Hide Your Smiling Faces delivers a dreamlike portrait of adolescence told through the eyes of two brothers—nine-year-old Tommy (Ryan Jones) and fourteen-year-old Eric (Nathan Varnson). The film centers on their struggle to understand the mysterious death of one of Tommy's friends and to deal with their own impending adulthood and mortality.

Hide Your Smiling Faces will be released on VOD and digital platforms on March 25. A select theatrical roll-out will follow beginning March 28 at Cinema Village in NYC.
