Jennifer Lawrence stars in the YA version of Munich? Okay, not exactly, but…kind of?

If you left a certain movie theater feeling more than a little unsatisfied, if not also angry, you weren’t alone. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 wasn’t a movie—it was half of a movie, a two-hour tease needlessly ended before its genuine conclusion in order to serve Hollywood’s financial overlords. The experience was comparable to when you’d watch Breaking Bad live, agonize over an episode’s intense, mouth-left-open final scene and then realize that you’d have to wait a full seven days to see what happens next—except, in Katniss Everdeen’s case, that wait would be a full year.

The wait will end on November 20, when the franchise’s last installment, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, opens. Unlike its predecessor, this fourth entry, once again directed by Francis Lawrence, will end with an actual, you know, ending. And based on this first teaser look, Jennifer Lawrence’s action-heavy series isn’t about to leave without a fight, tons of explosions and some kind of lava-like oil slick disaster. As for the earlier Munich comparison, Mockingjay – Part 2 is essentially an assassination movie, with Katniss and her District 13 crew closing in on the evil President Snow (Donald Sutherland).

As you can see in the trailer, and what feels like a reward for pointlessly having to pay double the price to see events that happen in one book, Mockingjay – Part 2’s purely dollar-minded existence is made much easier to except by its two-for-one Game of Thrones representation—Natalie Dormer’s back as the documentarian Cressida, a.k.a. the franchise’s badass answer to Werner Herzog, and newcomer Gwendoline Christie (Game of Thrones’ Brienne of Tarth) checks into the District as Commander Lyme, a former Hunger Games competitor and champion who, one can hope, finds time to scrap with a bear or two.
