Three different perspectives-those of a troubled mother, a young boy, and a pregnant teenager all simultaneously unfold and overlap. All three are riddled with guilt and are unable to clear their consciences, which leads them to the most surprising of outcomes.

Brendan Hayward grew up in Cranston, R.I. He attended art classes at the Rhodes Island School of Design while in junior high and high school. He later graduated from the University of Virginia and then moved to Los Angeles to be a director. After his first year in the Peter Stark Program at USC, he landed a job working directly under the presidents of production at Sony Pictures, during which time he made The Five-Cent Curve, his first 35mm film.
